On login, you'll be directed to the Pre-Built tab, where you'll find over 40 curated indexes ready for you to explore and invest in.
You can use a pre-built index as a starting template for customising your own index in step 2.
The Builder tab allows you to create your own custom cryptocurrency index. You can start from scratch or use a pre-built index as a base, and customise from there.
★ Starting from scratch with no filters? Click the Show Index Performance button and you'll generate an equal-weight index of all tokens in the Themelia universe.
You can use this index to compare to other indexes you build.
Now it's time to get creative and customise your index. Choose from our range of filters to either include or exclude tokens at index inception and at rebalancing periods.
★ Decide on your index type - either cap weight or equal weight indexes.
★ Select a rebalancing frequency - either weekly, monthly, quarterly, or never.
Most users start with a volume filter, to ensure the tokens they are buying are sufficiently liquid.
You don't have to use just one filter. Try combinations of different filters to build out your favourite index.
★ Have a favourite exchange, base layer or thematic? See what effect these filters have.
★ Try filtering on age or use the exclude feature to bump certain tokens out of your indexes.
★ Check out the Community section to follow other expert builders.
Click an index in the legend below the chart to re-populate its filters in the Builder.
You can chart up to 4 indexes at a time. If you'd like to clear a chart, just use the trash can icon.
★ Chart is flat? Beware of over-filtering. Try removing a filter (or two) as you may have limited the token universe too much.
★ Use the master reset icon at the top of the Builder to clear all filters at once, or use the reset icon at a filter level to clear a specific filter.
If you'd like to see how your indexes perform on shorter time frames, change the drop down in the top left corner of the chart pane.
Try editing the name of your index and saving it to the Favourites tab using the pencil and star icons below the chart pane.
Use this tab to save indexes you'd like to buy or as your homepage for tracking the market.
Click the Buy Index button to see a list of index constituents and to enter your purchase amount.
★ Before you make your first purchase, you'll need to connect your exchange account to Themelia.
Use the exchange filter when building your index to narrow the constituent universe to what's available in your exchange.
